5. Combination of Methods

  • Integrated Approach: Often, a combination of blood tests and non-invasive imaging techniques (like FibroScan or MRE) is used to estimate liver fibrosis and monitor progression. Biopsy is generally reserved for cases where other tests are inconclusive or if more precise staging of liver disease is required.
